FIRST Cereal!

I set up Austin's highchair this afternoon, so we thought we would try some rice cereal just for fun! I made it very watery and we strapped him in for his first taste testing :)

Oh Daddy, that was awesome! Look at the way Austin adores his daddy!

Austin loved the cereal and didn't really even try to push it out of his mouth, gag or anything! I guess the chunky monkey has to do what he has to do to maintain his figure :) I took over and he probably got about 10-12 spoonfuls and I had to cut him off. For now we'll just do it for fun, but he doesn't need it regularly just yet.

Chunky Monkey's First Pictures!

I had Austin's first pictures done yesterday at Portrait Innovations. Mom went with me and I am very pleased with the results!

This is the picture I picked for the package. I just love how adorably sincere he looks :) My little redhead!

They tried to do some "beach" pictures with him, but he was worn out from holding his head up for so long that he just couldn't do it much more! But, this one turned out cute anyway!

I also got a couple of sheets of this picture! I know I am biased, but he is one cute little man :)

Summertime!

Wow, summertime is here and already almost gone! Where does the time go? We haven't done anything too special this summer, but we've been busy with day to day life I guess!

Avery is quite the little helper! I can count on her to feed Austin at least once a day. She would do it all day if I let her :) Both kids are excellent at keeping an eye on him when he's playing and wiping him up if he spits up.

Andrew doesn't hold Austin too much. He loves him to pieces, but he doesn't ask to hold him too often. Austin loves his big brother and lights up when he sees him!

I think this is from our Father's Day get together at moms. Andy is playing with Nathan :)

And of course Avery is supervising - she's good at that ;)

June 30th - Uncle Adam and Aunt D'Ana's wedding. Avery and Andrew were all dressed up at the flower girl and ring bearer.

I love black and white pics. This is such an adorable close-up of the little guy! Hard to believe he will be 3 MONTHS OLD tomorrow :(

At his 2 month appointment, he was 12 lbs, 7 oz. (75th percentile) and was I think 23-3/4" long (90th percentile). He "talks" and coos and even laughs all the time. He smiles constantly. I couldn't have wished for a better baby. He's been sleeping through the night since he was 7 weeks old and now sleeps 12 hours at night (YAY!!).
