Easter 2008

Easter 2008 was a busy time for us! Andrew turned 5 on Good Friday and then his party was the next day and then Easter - YIKES!!

Here is Andrew on the hunt for Easter Eggs at home!

And Avery!

Avery again! Most of our shots of Andy were of the back of his head. You can imagine what a race it is between Avery and Andrew to get eggs on Easter!

Speaking of racing, here's Andrew at Nonny's hunting for eggs. Poor kids, they didn't get enough toys or candy this year :(

Avery found a big egg that contained candy and money! Unfortunately I can't tell you what she called this particular egg......!!

Avery found the basket that the bunny (aka Nonny) left for her!

And Andrew found his too!

Austin is scheduled to be induced on May 2nd, just one week after Avery's birthday!!! I am so glad the time is almost here, all we have to do is finish his room :)

Almost ALL Andrew!

The past several days have been "all about Andrew". The newly minted 5 year old takes his birthday very seriously and has no problem reminding people that he is the birthday boy. We finally told him yesterday that it was time to stop using that line!

Here is the birthday boy on his actual birthday (March 21) at Chuck E. Cheese.

And Avery of course!

Avery LOVES to play skeeball. She must have played at least 30 games of it while we were there!

Andrew tried his hand at it a few times as well.

Avery took a break from skeeball to race her Daddy :)

Then Andrew stepped in to race Avery. Andrew beat everyone at the racing game, but that's no surprise!

Birthday Party!! Andrew is opening a gift from Aunt Amy and Uncle Jan-Morgan.

Andrew got lots of Transformers for his birthday!

Andrew needed a new UT jersey as his other one was getting too short. I'll give you one guess as to who gave it to him!

Of course it had to be a Transformers cake!

And here is the new 5 year old blowing out his candles.

Later that same evening the kids dyed their Easter eggs.

Here is Andy taking a turn!

They dyed 20 eggs in no time flat!

Andy posing with the eggs he dyed.

Andy in his new jammies from Nana and Papa. Andrew loves jammies!

And finally, Avery and her Easter eggs!

On a happy note, I have been scheduled for induction on May 2nd. So, barring anything happening before then, that will be Austin's birthday! The doctor was willing to induce me as early as April 25th, but that's Avery's birthday, so I didn't want to do that to her. As is, their birthdays will only be one week apart - YIKES!!
