This year we had a laid back 4th of July. No big family event to attend! Instead, the 4 of us + my parents went to Ronnie's house. Alan was there also. We ate BBQ and sat around - it was quiet and relaxing!
BUT, Uncle Alan bought a bunch of fireworks for the kids! He seemed to know just what the kids would like and they spent time throughout the day doing various fireworks. The kids had a blast & I think Uncle Alan enjoyed himself as well!

Sparklers were up first! Avery dove right in - Andy was a bit more timid.
But, he relented and tried one for himself!
Avery took it one step further by having 2 lit for her and dancing with them!
This is a giant sparkler! Alan bought 2 of them. Avery did them both because Andy wanted no part of a sparkler that size! I've never seen these before, but they are way cool :)
