Today we took the kids to the Children's Museum in The Woodlands Mall. We have a yearly pass and the kids just love the place.

Paging Dr. Altman!

Avery tells us that only boys are doctors and girls are nurses (she loves the books Dr. Dan and Nurse Nancy). We have yet to convince her that girls can be doctors too!
Can you feel the love here?
Heaven knows Mommy is at the post office enough, so it's no surprise that the kids enjoyed this area of the museum!

At the international cafe, the kids handed us menus and took our order. Here they are getting our meal ready!

Say AAAAAHHHHH!!

What can I say - this is just CUTE :)
Who says the Children's Museum is just for little kids??

Our little explorer digging for dinosaur bones....

"Daddy, what is a typewriter? It kinda looks like a keyboard, but there's no "tv"!!"

Nothing like a pirate ridin' a horse!

Andrew loves his race car bed. For some reason, he refuses covers every night, never falls asleep with his head on his pillow and ALWAYS sleeps with his head at the foot of the bed. I explained to Wade that I think he does it so that his head is at the front of the car, like he's driving it or something! Notice the ULTRA clean room, compliments of his mommy. 2 hours and a huge trashbag later, he can finally see his floor. He called me into his room yesterday after I cleaned it to let me know that he now has the ability to do "flips" in his room. That's Andrew talk for rolling around :)

And, down the hall, at the same time her brother is sleeping and she is supposed to be sleeping, this is where we find Avery. We're lucky that she is actually wearing jammies tonight. She prefers to sleep in very little, but she says these jammies are so silky that she loves to wear them.
And thus ends a day in our home.
